Travel: Tibet

Traveling over 5,000 meters above sea level to visit a magnificent lake where the sky only seemed a few feet overhead, playing soccer and basketball for 4 straight hours one day at Tibet University in Lhasa, until I started seeing stars and nearly blacked out, and visiting our friends' homes for drinking parties a number of times, these were just some of the highlights of our time in Tibet. Then there were all the temples and monasteries.... and the spectacular trip to the border with Nepal.
